Newton Abbot Conservative Association covers the parliamentary constituency of Newton Abbot which was created for the 2010 General Election. The constituency incorporates the towns of Kingsteignton, Teignmouth and Dawlish.
At local level we have several strong local branches across our towns and villages who campaign on local issues and run events. The Conservatives currently run Devon County Council and are an opposition party on Teignbridge District Council.
In 2010, 2015 and 2019 Anne Marie Morris was elected the Member of Parliament for Newton Abbot.
In December 2019 Anne Marie was re-elected to Parliament with an increased majority of 17,501, with 55.5% share of the vote.
Anne Marie lives in Newton Abbot and has a family history in Devon that can be traced back some 200 years. Anne Marie holds regular surgeries across the constituency as well as ‘Face to Face’ events at the local pubs. See the ‘Events’ page for more information on where your local surgeries are and to book an appointment.
In addition to contesting elections we hold good social events, an opportunity to mix with like minded people, and the chance to talk to Conservative frontbenchers on a regular basis. There really is something for everyone.
However you want to do politics, new members are always welcome.
